Overview

Per Diem - Respiratory Therapist at Corona Regional Rehabilitation in Corona, CA. Reporting to Respiratory Care Practitioner Supervisor, this position provides respiratory therapy which includes assessment, treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation including ABG lab procedures, puncture and analysis and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. Provides consultation, instruction, and/or technical direction to medical, nursing, and other staff members. Performs limited cardiology diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide respiratory therapy assessments, treatments, and management for patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies or abnormalities.

Perform diagnostic evaluations, including ABG lab procedures and analysis.

Provide consultation, instruction, and technical direction to medical, nursing, and other staff members.

Perform limited cardiology diagnostic procedures as needed.

Qualifications

RCP CA License

Current RCP License from the state of California as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Maintains active NBRC credentials (RRT, CRT, NPS, CPFT, ACCS or RPFT).

BLS

ACLS

ABM (90 DAYS) and PALS and NRP (90 DAYS)

As of July 10, 2019, must possess Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential granted by the NBRC and maintain credential throughout employment tenure.

As of July 10, 2019, Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
