Kevin Davis Insurance Services (an Amwins company) is seeking a Sr. Underwriter. The focus is on underwriting for the HOA/Condo Association space.
Remote or hybrid. If hybrid (2-3 days in office) based in Los Angeles, CA.
Job Duties
Providing leadership and underwriting focus on profitability, growth, and retention of new and renewal business consistent with assigned goals within the territory.
Responsible for authorizing requests and higher limits of authority for new business and renewals.
Proactively collaborate closely with agents to build partnerships and deliver solutions, maintaining an understanding of KDIS products, services, and solutions, and ensuring consistent exemplary audit results.
Ensures underwriting quality and profitability by applying underwriting protocols, rules, and regulations to maintain compliance with underwriting strategies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
5-7 years of underwriting experience in the HOA/Condo Association industry.
P&C license in the state of residence is required.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Advanced knowledge of professional liability coverage forms, endorsements, exclusions, and manuscript language.
Pursuant to California regulation, the compensation range for this position is $75,000 – $95,000, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
