Job Description
To lead all day-to-day accounting operations ofVibrant Works, including functional responsibility over accounting staff, accounts payable, accounts receivable,and the general ledger. The Controller will ensure that Vibrant Works has the systems and procedures in place to ensure accurate financials and compliance with applicable standards.
Qualifications
Minimum ofBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
CPA and/or MBA/MPA(Master of Professional Accountancy)stronglypreferred
Manufacturingexperience strongly preferred
Seven to tenyears’ experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and accounting for investments
Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management,boardor other outside parties
Advanced knowledge of accounting and report software
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience withmanufacturing/cost accounting preferred
Experience with grants administration / accounting is a plus
