Pre Mix Machine Operator I -1st shift

Essential Functions

Request ingredients as stated on the BOM from the material handler.

Combine all materials in proper sequence and confirm each ingredient added correctly; ensure proper processing time per mixing system (WIP/Formula Sheet).

Operate mixer safely and accurately scale ingredients, mix in proper sequence and maintain mixer schedule.

Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety and superior quality standards (GMPs, HACCP, FSI, SQF, etc.).

Conduct product inspections to ensure specifications are met.

Change machine settings as needed.

Interpret all formulas and develop WIPs, including time, temperature, weight, and exceptions.

Ensure mixing equipment adheres to sanitation regulations.

Keep work area, tools, and supplies organized and sanitary throughout the shift.

Work and communicate well with others as part of a team.

Complete and deliver all batch forms (Formula Sheet) to the Supply Chain Manager.

Assist in training mixing area helpers and/or assistant mixers.

Follow all GMPs and safety procedures as outlined by RFI.

Education / Experience

High School Diploma or GED.

Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to read a WIP schedule and perform basic math skills.

Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally.

Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.

Bilingual skills a plus.

Food manufacturing experience.

Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Comfortable in a cold working environment.

Ability to work occasional Saturdays.
