Responsibilities:
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment.
Perform repairs and routine maintenance on excavators, loaders, dozers, and similar machinery.
Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Replace or repair defective parts including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Work independently in the field or shop when needed.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of proven experience working specifically with heavy construction equipment.
Must own and maintain your own mechanic tools required to perform the job.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and heavy equipment diagnostics.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift heavy components and work in demanding environments.
Qualifications:
Experience with brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere, Volvo, or similar heavy equipment.
Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
Compensation:
