
Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician

We are seeking experienced
Commercial HVAC Service Technicians
to join a growing service team in Connecticut. This role focuses on
diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance
of commercial HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems and components
Perform preventative maintenance and equipment startups
Service
RTUs, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, heat pumps, split systems, and hydronic systems
Troubleshoot
control systems, frequency drives, and central plant equipment
Handle refrigeration piping, including
brazing and soldering
Evaluate systems and recommend upgrades or efficient repair solutions
Accurately estimate time and materials for service work
Maintain tools, equipment, and job site accountability
Complete service documentation accurately and on time
Communicate effectively with customers and internal technical teams
Follow all safety procedures and applicable codes
Qualifications
Valid
Connecticut HVAC License (S1, S2, D1, or D2)
– Required
3–5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
Currently employed in an HVAC service role (strongly preferred)
Strong experience in
diagnostics and troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with
chillers, boilers, controls, and commercial systems
Knowledge of local codes, safety standards, and regulations
OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently in the field
Work Schedule
On-call rotation (approximately every 4 weeks)
Overtime and emergency service availability required
Competitive hourly pay
~$10/hour bonus potential
On-call pay (minimum 4 hours guaranteed)
Travel/traffic bonus incentives
