Our client, a well-established company, is seeking a Senior Accountant. As the Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financials, leading month-end close activities, supporting audits, and strengthening internal processes. Responsibilities
Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile AP/AR transactions to the general ledger
Produce accurate accounting reports and present findings as needed
Analyze financial information and identify trends or areas for improvement
Recommend process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency
Assist with system enhancements and procedure updates
Collaborate daily with AP, AR, Credit & Collections, and Billing teams
Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
Contribute to departmental goals and initiatives
Prepare financial statements and assist with budgeting schedules
Support tax audits, tax preparation, and interactions with external auditors
Lead key aspects of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
Document processes, strengthen internal controls, and ensure GAAP compliance
Partner closely with the Controller on improving financial procedures
Requirements
Experience performing senior-level accounting responsibilities
Strong understanding of accounting procedures and GAAP
Solid grasp of core financial statements
Hands-on experience in general ledger functions and close processes
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
