Job Overview
The Entry‑Level Design Engineer supports the engineering team by creating, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings and 3D models using Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) software. This role assists in product development, manufacturing support, and design improvements while gaining hands‑on experience in a production environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working with CAD tools to translate engineering concepts into accurate technical designs.
Responsibilities
Create and revise 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)
Assist in the design and development of components, assemblies, and tooling
Prepare engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, and bill of materials (BOMs)
Support manufacturing by updating designs based on production feedback
Review drawings for accuracy, tolerances, and compliance with company standards
Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain engineering files and revision control
Assist with prototypes, testing, and design validation
