
Labor Relations Coordinator

Position Overview
This position is open to current residents of Colorado only. The role is hybrid and requires the candidate to be in the office at least two days per week.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a strategic plan for labor relations, considering both management and employee perspectives.
Represent the Department in interactions with the labor union, advising, counseling, directing, and coaching on workplace issues related to contract fulfillment, policy interpretation, employee conflict, work conditions, performance management, and dispute resolution.
Collaborate with Human Resources leadership, supervisors, and other HR representatives to foster a culture of engagement and cooperation with the union.
Serve as lead for contract and agreement disputes, informal mediations, required notices, and communication with the union.

Salary Range
Hourly: $34.40 – $50.54
Biweekly: $2,751.69 – $4,042.87
Monthly: $5,962.00 – $8,759.56
Minimum Qualifications
Seven (7) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to labor and union relations, including managing stakeholder relationships, contract negotiation, compliance, collection of collective bargaining agreements, knowledge of State Personnel Board Rules, and case management.
OR a combination of related education and/or experience equal to seven (7) years.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with union contract process and negotiation.
In‑depth knowledge of Colorado employment law, regulations, and policies.
Relevant education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or Law.
Experience performing similar duties as a classified State of Colorado employee.
