Overview
West Virginia University Health System and WVU Heart & Vascular Institute seek an Electrophysiologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice in Martinsburg, West Virginia, with potential assignments at additional sites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Travel may be required to fulfill duties at those sites.
The position involves practicing in electrophysiology with emphasis on high-quality patient care and active teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Responsibilities
Practice in the area of electrophysiology and provide excellent patient care.
Actively teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
Occasionally travel to additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania as required.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligibility for state medical licensure.
Completed internal medicine residency, cardiovascular disease fellowship, and electrophysiology fellowship.
Board certified or board eligible in electrophysiology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
