Job Description
We seek an experienced attorney (4+ years) to join our fast‑growing civil defense litigation firm. We handle a variety of complex litigation matters. We offer a collegial atmosphere. Hybrid work, competitive salary, and excellent benefits.

Candidates with experience in civil rights, construction, and general tort defense are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Defend individuals or organizations in civil litigation matters.

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal correspondence.

Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and build defense strategies.

Handle depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.

Negotiate settlements and manage case timelines.

Communicate clearly with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.

Maintain compliance with ethical rules and court procedures.

Qualifications

An active license to practice law in Illinois is required.

A minimum of 4 years of litigation experience.

Strong writing, oral advocacy, and critical‑thinking skills.

Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage a heavy caseload.
