Overview
Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center – Nursing: Medical/Surgical IU Oncology. Status: Part time. Benefits Eligible: No. Hours Per Week: 0. Schedule Details/Additional Information: 0700-1900 weeknights; PRN requires 3 shifts every 6-week schedule period with 1 weekend shift. Requires 1 major and 1 minor Holiday per calendar year. Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30.

Join our dynamic and collaborative Medical Oncology Unit, an 18-bed acute care environment specializing in the care of patients undergoing oncology treatment. Our team provides high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced, supportive setting.
Primary Patient Population
Oncology patients
Comfort Care / End of Life / Hospice / Palliative Care patients
General medical/surgical patients requiring acute care
What We’re Looking For
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
What You’ll Do
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
