Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday, with some weekend and holiday work required
Overview
Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an Active Ingredient Technician II. Ideal candidates should have at least a High School Diploma and 1+ years of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Perform activities associated with the preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic clean room environment, utilizing virus and cell culture techniques according to USDA regulations
Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures during process execution
Assist with training and coaching current and new employees on required skills
Complete and review in-process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely manner; maintain technical data and support documentation
Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems; accelerate production flow disturbances as needed
Demonstrate a visible and tangible commitment to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives
Assess individual performance in regards to continuous improvement (AAI)
Support site projects and initiatives, including deviation and change control management
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent; Biology degree or related field preferred
One year or more of laboratory or manufacturing experience preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
Knowledge of clean room and aseptic techniques
Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles
Basic math skills and equipment/automation troubleshooting skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Demonstrated problem‑solving ability
