Responsibilities
This role will support small gas regulation station and regulator station projects (not large assets such as compressor stations). Responsibilities include conducting site visits, producing designs from IFR through As‑Built, and generating full drawing packages for each phase. The contractor will create 3D models using CADWorx and translate them into fabrication and as‑built drawings, while coordinating closely with engineers and project managers to ensure correct classifications and bills of materials.
Technical Skills and Qualifications
Drafting and design experience
CADWorx or comparable drafting tools
Ability to interpret drawings into real‑world field applications
Understanding of pipe specs and bills of materials
Document control and revision management
Non‑Technical Skills
Strong collaboration skills
Ability to work independently without micromanagement
Receptiveness to feedback
Clear communication with engineers and operations teams
Ideal Candidate Background
3–5 years of drafting experience. Utility experience strongly preferred. Geospatial, construction design, P&ID, architectural, or engineering drafting experience may translate well.
