Summary
This position is located in San Juan National Historic Site, in the Resource Management Division. The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period for San Juan National Historic Site is May - November, but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: late May.
Major Duties
Develops and uses databases to enter, organize, perform preliminary analysis of collected field data. Assist professional staff in planning field research and resource monitoring programs for evaluating rare, threatened and endangered plant species, vegetation communities' population dynamics, ecosystems relationships and public health/safety issues. Enter and process data using computer software applications (e.g., Access, ArcGIS etc.). Coordinate project compliance (NHPA, NEPA) seeking oversight and guidance.
