
IT / Helpdesk / Networking Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern to support our internal helpdesk, network infrastructure, and business systems. This role provides hands‑on experience in a real‑world IT environment, working with end‑user support, Microsoft 365 administration, networking, ERP systems, and industrial/office printing systems.

Key Responsibilities
Respond to and resolve support tickets using Freshdesk
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for end users
Assist with workstation setup, imaging, and deployment
Support scanners, mobile devices, and other peripherals
Document issues, solutions, and procedures clearly
Microsoft 365 Administration
Assist with user account setup, password resets, and permissions
Support Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint usage
Help enforce security policies such as MFA and access controls
Troubleshoot login, email, and collaboration issues
Networking & Infrastructure
Assist with basic network troubleshooting (Wi‑Fi, VLANs, connectivity)
Help maintain and organize network documentation
Support configuration and monitoring of switches, access points, and firewalls
Assist with device inventory and asset tracking
Printer & Labeling Systems Support
Troubleshoot networked office printers, print servers, and queue issues
Assist with installation and configuration of printer drivers across multiple systems
Support thermal label printers used in production and inventory environments
Help diagnose print quality issues, formatting problems, and communication errors
Assist with barcode labeling systems and ensure proper integration with business workflows
Maintain documentation for printer setups, drivers, and configurations
ERP System Support (General)
Assist users with system access and basic troubleshooting
Help maintain data accuracy and user permissions
Support reporting and data entry processes
Document workflows and assist with system improvements
Work with IT staff to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions
Qualifications
Required:
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems (Windows preferred)
Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn
Good communication and customer service skills
Preferred (but not required):
Familiarity with helpdesk/ticketing systems (e.g., Freshdesk)
Exposure to Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
Experience with Active Directory or user account management
Exposure to printer troubleshooting or hardware support
