Job Overview
We are seeking a Software Asset Management Analyst with expertise in Asset Management, Capital Markets, Configuration Management, and ITIL processes. The role involves managing software licenses, ensuring compliance, and optimizing asset utilization.
Responsibilities
Agreement understanding, entitlement gathering, data validation, discovery monitoring, reporting, compliance monitoring, gap analysis, and reclaim process.
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather data and ensure its quality, accuracy, and completeness in the asset management tool.
Analyze major publisher license rules and optimize license usage.
Review Enterprise License Agreements (ELAs) and maintain OEM privilege portals to validate entitlements.
Maintain a detailed understanding of SAM attributes.
Notify application owners about license changes, renewals, and reclaim opportunities.
Essential Skills
Hands-on experience in Asset & Configuration Management.
Knowledge of ITIL processes.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in asset management and related fields.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
2-4 years of experience specifically in Asset Management within Capital Markets.
Experience with license rule analysis and optimization.
