Asset Management Business Analyst
Provide overall management support for day-to-day operations within the End User Services organization. This role supports activities related to budgeting, contract negotiations, service level agreements (SLAs), contract compliance, hardware and software asset management, cost analysis, and project status and cost tracking. The position requires technical knowledge related to negotiating, tracking, ordering, and selecting computer-related hardware and software.
Essential Functions
Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing, asset management, and report generation
Audit software and hardware maintenance contracts to ensure appropriate billing
Develop and support purchasing processes, including:
Purchase requisitions
Vendor evaluations and reviews
Financial tracking
SAP processes
Provide ad hoc analysis to improve operational efficiency through advanced reporting and detailed analysis
Review and report monthly volumes for:
Mobility
Multi-Function Devices (MFDs)
Computers
Enterprise software
Evaluate and process shopping carts for equipment and software procurement
Support Home Use programs (e.g., McAfee, Microsoft products)
Use SAP for forecasting, budget entries, and reporting
Support printer technical operations and Multi-Function Device processes
Manage software license compliance, including Microsoft licenses
Facilitate periodic vendor meetings to ensure SLA adherence and performance compliance
Perform benchmarking and process improvement initiatives for End User Services
Support Asset Management by ensuring database accuracy of hardware and software assets
Maintain and report time tracking activities
Provide consultation to clients on IT financial and statistical data
Develop Statements of Work (SOWs) for new and renewed End User Services contracts
Analyze existing contracts for vendor compliance
Stay current on IT industry trends and technology direction
Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft O365, including Outlook and Excel
Maintain chargeback processes and tracking
Ensure compliance with corporate policies and guidelines (Financial, Accounting, Purchasing & Logistics)
Basic Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
OR equivalent applicable work experience
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in the computer-related industry or End User Support processes
Financial background supporting the full lifecycle of end user assets and services
