Role: Business Analyst II Location: Houston, TX (onsite) Duration: 12 months Job Description: Job Summary: Provide overall management support for day to day operations for End User Services area. The management support includes activities related to budget, contract negotiations, service level agreements, contract compliance, hardware and software asset tracking and retirements, cost flow analysis, and project status and cost tracking. Additionally position will require technical knowledge for negotiating, tracking, ordering, and selecting computer related hardware and software. Essential Functions: Proficient in utilizing ServiceNow for ticketing, asset management and report generation Audit software and hardware maintenance contracts to ensure appropriate billings Develop and support Purchasing process for area including purchase reqs, vendor evaluation, vendor reviews, financial tracking, SAP processes, etc Develop and contribute to various ad hoc analysis relating to improving operational efficiency through advanced reporting and detailed analysis Review and provide monthly volumes relating to Mobility, Multi-Function Devices and Computers, and enterprise software. Evaluate and process shopping carts for ordering equipment and software Provide client support for Home Use related programs such as McAfee and Microsoft products Use SAP for forecasting and budget entries, and reporting Comprehends printer technical support and knowledgeable in Mult-Function Device processes Knowledgeable in software license compliancy; including Microsoft Facilitate periodic meetings with vendors responsible for desktop and telephony technology services to ensure compliance and adherence to SLAs and other performance issues Benchmarking and process improvement for the services provided within the end user services areas Support Asset Management area insuring database accuracy of computer and software related equipment Knowledge of financial systems, SAP, and budget a plus Support, maintain, and report time tracking Provide consultation to clients around IT financial/statistical data Develop statement of work documents used as a basis to establish new contracts or renew existing contracts specific to End User Services Analyze existing contracts to assess vendor compliance Technologically intimate with IT industry trends and directions Proficient in O365; including Outlook with exposure to Excel features Maintain process and tracking for area chargeback Knowledge of corporate policies and guidelines (Financial, Accounting, Purchasing & Logistics, etc.) Basic Qualifications: Education: Requires a minimum of a bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field OR equivalent work experience Experience: Requires minimum of 5 years previous experience in computer related industry or end user support processes; including financial background with administrative involvement to support life cycle of end user assets and services Competencies: 1.
