Bilingual Patient Support Representative (Spanish/English)

Pay: $18/hour Location: Cleveland, OH (West Side) Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:30 AM5:00 PM | Onsite Duration: 36 months | ASAP
Position Summary

The Bilingual Patient Support Representative provides front-office support in a healthcare setting, delivering excellent customer service in both Spanish and English. Responsibilities include patient check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and data entry in electronic health record systems.
Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients in person and by phone (Spanish/English)
Register patients, verify documents, and schedule appointments
Enter, update, and scan patient data in EPIC/EHR systems
Verify insurance, explain coverage, co-pays, and collect payments
Assist uninsured patients with Medicaid and sliding fee applications
Maintain patient flow and communicate with clinical staff
Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
Perform appointment reminders and other assigned duties
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
Healthcare or clinical front-desk experience preferred
Experience with EHR systems and insurance verification preferred
Strong customer service, attention to detail, and professionalism
