Location: Hybrid (3) days onsite Washington, D.C. Compensation: $170,000 $220,000 base salary Additional Compensation: Full benefits package + annual bonus Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. no visa sponsorship
The Opportunity

HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for a leading law firm seeking a Senior Manager, Business Development to support its Antitrust Practice Group within the Litigation Department. This role is highly visible and strategically important. The Senior Manager will partner closely with antitrust practice leadership to elevate market positioning, deepen client relationships, and drive thoughtful growth initiatives in a competitive and closely watched legal market. Success requires deep familiarity with law firm business development, credibility with partners, and the judgment to operate effectively in complex, high-stakes litigation practices. Candidates must bring current law firm experience and a demonstrated record of career stability and longevity.
Key Responsibilities

Design and execute business development and marketing strategies in close collaboration with antitrust partners, litigation leadership, and cross-functional teams
Support key client development initiatives by monitoring antitrust, competition, and regulatory trends, as well as competitive intelligence
Coordinate directly with partners and stakeholders to produce high-quality pitches, proposals, and RFP responses that reflect practice strengths and market positioning
Collaborate with global business development colleagues to identify and pursue cross-selling and client expansion opportunities
Develop, maintain, and refine practice marketing materials, including practice descriptions, website content, experience lists, and credentials
Evaluate, manage, and execute sponsorships and strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with practice goals and measurable return on investment
Coordinate and prepare submissions for legal rankings, awards, and industry recognition
Plan and oversee client events, seminars, and conferences in support of relationship-building and thought leadership
Partner with marketing and communications teams on media relations, digital content, and profile-raising initiatives
Contribute to department-wide efforts to improve business development processes, tools, and best practices
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

Bachelor's degree with a focus on marketing, business, or law
10+ years of professional experience in business development or marketing within a law firm or comparable professional services environment
Current law firm experience supporting a Litigation practice (required)
Direct experience supporting Antitrust or competition practices (required)
5+ years of management experience within a law firm environment
Demonstrated understanding of law firm operations and sophisticated corporate client expectations
Proven record of job longevity and professional continuity

Advanced knowledge of legal and professional services marketing trends, tools, and technologies
Strong strategic instincts and ability to advise partners on market positioning and client development
Experience leading teams, mentoring junior professionals, and managing complex initiatives
Foundational understanding of antitrust and litigation concepts and how they translate into client value
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of editorial precision
