Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and accurate labor, materials, and equipment takeoffs
Complete detailed cost estimates for projects of all sizes
Collaborate with construction managers, engineers, vendors, and other departments to discuss and formulate estimates
Build customer and vendor relationships
Review documents to develop a clear understanding of project scope
Work closely with the operations team to relay key scope information during proposal review meetings and at project turnovers
Solicit subcontractor and vendor pricing
Assist in the maintenance of bid documents (plans, specs, RFIs, addenda, quotes, and proposals)
Procure best pricing for subs and vendors, review quotes for accuracy and compliance with bid documents
Identify project risks and opportunities and present them for review
Attend and participate in scope review meetings with clients to answer questions
Skills & Qualifications
Estimation, Construction, MEP
Technical experience in mechanical, plumbing, or fire protection systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proficiency in Autobid Mechanical and BID Tracer (a plus)
Job Type & Location
Permanent position based out of Waltham, MA.
Pay & Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year.
