
Inventory Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using inventory management software
Conduct regular physical counts of merchandise and reconcile with system records, 25 counts per hour while maintaining 99% accuracy
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records
Research weight variances, receiving/put away/picking issues, and damaged product in the location from warehouse moves/put away/general incidents
Proactively check First-in First-out (FIFO) items for proper rotation
Generate and analyze reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and other relevant metrics
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
Able to professionally communicate inventory reports/questions/resolutions via email and phone
Ensure items are properly identified, organized, labeled, and in the correct location
Receiving, unpacking, and stocking incoming shipments as needed
Ensure proper handling and storage of inventory to prevent damage or loss
Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Professional verbal, written, and customer-service oriented communication skills
Develop and maintain a good working relationship with all personnel and customers
Ability to stay organized, follow up, and track results

Basic Qualifications
High School diploma preferred
Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
Proficiency in Excel
Strong mathematical skills
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Must wear protective gear and composite shoes
Will frequently move about inside the warehouse
Must be able to operate warehouse machinery - sit down lift, cherry picker, reach truck, pallet jacks
Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
Constantly working in a warehouse environment

Ability to self-manage, show initiative, and be proactive
Detail‑oriented, organized, and strong problem‑solving skills
Manage multiple tasks, projects, or deadlines with prioritization simultaneously
Receive, analyze, and comprehend all information with attention to detail

Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing
