Job Title: Office Manager

Job Description
The Office Manager oversees daily office operations to ensure a smooth, efficient, and professional workplace. This role combines administrative leadership, accounting support, and facilities coordination to support teams across the organization. The Office Manager serves as a central point of contact for employees and leadership, helping to maintain clear communication, consistent office policies, and a positive work environment with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily office operations to ensure a smooth, efficient, and well-organized workflow.

Provide accounting support, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, in coordination with the corporate accounting team.

Manage office supplies and equipment, including ordering, inventory control, and cost-effective purchasing.

Coordinate and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.

Organize and coordinate office maintenance and facility management activities to keep the workplace safe, clean, and functional.

Provide administrative support by scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.

Organize and plan company events, meetings, and team-building activities to support a strong internal culture.

Maintain and update office policies and procedures to support efficient company operations.

Serve as a liaison between employees and management to support communication and issue resolution.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the office environment.

Support front desk activities, including greeting visitors and assisting with general inquiries as needed.

Assist with special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned by leadership.

Essential Skills

Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar office administration role.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Experience providing accounting support, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (AR/AP).

Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with employees, leadership, vendors, and visitors.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple tasks and priorities.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced office environment.

Experience working with ERP systems to support accounting or operational processes.

Administrative support experience, including data entry and document management.

Comfort working at the front desk and providing professional, courteous support to visitors and team members.

Additional Skills & Quote Qualifications

Experience in facility management and vendor coordination is a plus.

Experience with payroll processes is beneficial.

Excel data entry experience to support financial and operational reporting.

Ability to contribute to planning and coordinating company events and team-building activities.

Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Flexibility to take on special projects and new responsibilities as the company grows.

Company may consider additional experience, training, or certifications in lieu of specific educational requirements where appropriate.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
