Essential Job Duties
Coordinating overall logistics, administration, planning professional development, and evaluation of summer internships for the Center for Environmental Farming Systems.
Specific duties include:
Internship recruiting
Planning and coordinating logistics or professional development
Tracking and documenting activities
Assisting with paying farmers
Supporting interns with day‑to‑day activities as needed
Schedule
Spring: approximately 10 hours per week; Summer: 20-25 hours per week.
Possibility of extending after August.

Requirements and Preferences
Minimum Experience/Education:
Recently graduated or graduating in May from a 4‑year college or university with a degree in Agroecology, Agriculture Education, or similar field
Department Required Skills:
Enthusiasm for local foods and respect for farmers and producers from diverse rural communities
Strong communication skills with experience in agriculture education
Valid driver's license and access to transportation to the host site
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education:
Participated in an internship in the past
Resident of NC, ideally in the Triangle
Experience with technology and online platforms
Good communication skills and self‑motivated
Knowledge of, or experience working with agriculture students
Personal laptop use preferred
Required License or Certification: Valid driver's license (NC Resident)
