The Quality Control Lead is responsible for executing the Quality Management System (QMS) at the site level, managing the continuous improvement portfolio, and overseeing training governance. This role has evolved from the legacy Quality Manager position and integrates process governance, audit oversight, corrective actions, and quality‑driven training coordination in collaboration with Operations.
Responsibilities
Own site‑level QMS execution and continuous improvement portfolio.
Strengthen audit readiness and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Coordinate quality‑driven training in partnership with Operations.
Facilitate root‑cause problem‑solving into standardized processes.
Influence training governance triggered by quality events.
Build a culture of quality ownership across the site.
Essential Skills
Quality control and quality assurance expertise.
Working knowledge of QMS, Lean, and basic Six Sigma tools such as 8D, PFMEA, and SPC.
Strong data analysis, problem‑solving, and facilitation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
Experience with lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Quality, Industrial/Manufacturing, or related field.
5+ years of experience in quality and continuous improvement.
2+ years of demonstrated leadership experience at the site level.
Work Environment
The position operates in a large‑scale manufacturing environment, with 60‑70% of time spent on the production floor and the remaining time in an office setting. The role is hands‑on and visible, requiring frequent floor walks across a 300,000+ square foot facility to support quality systems, continuous improvement initiatives, and daily operations. The environment is fast‑paced and collaborative, closely integrated with Operations and site leadership. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs may be required, along with the use of standard Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the production floor. Schedule flexibility is necessary to support multiple shifts, audits, or continuous improvement events as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $80000.00/hr.
