Job Title
Maintains safe and secure environment for clients, volunteers, and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
Position Responsibilities
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting and/or denying entry based on restriction status
Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; removing trespassers.
Completes daily reports by recording observations, information, incidents and surveillance activities, interviewing witnesses
Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
Conducts bag checks, roster reviews, and understands contraband policies
Coordinate and manage regular locker searches for contraband
Uses de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed care practices in working with clients and external constituents
Requirements
Security license D (Required)
Skills and Qualifications
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Knowledge of security operations and procedures
Ability to follow complex instructions
Ability to maintain emotional control
Ability to deal with uncertainty
Ability to use good judgement
Knowledge of surveillance skills
