Job Summary
The primary function of this position is to build, cable, fiber, and perform software upgrades to equipment in ESIS integration area. Primary focus is to finish builds in the hot staging type projects. Assures the timeliness and quality of assembled product and production records. Coordinates activities with the Engineering, Order Management, and Logistics Departments to ensure that the product meets the customer's needs and is delivered on time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinates with logistics department in staging of materials for jobs.
Develops and executes work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Assures that the product is built in compliance with industry and quality standards.
Addresses all quality findings and takes timely corrective actions to correct the findings and to prevent any recurrence. Resolves and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
Maintain good documentation of time and production records.
Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.
Has the ability to reach out to internal and external teams (engineering or project/program management) to effectively resolve issues.
Can self-sufficiently troubleshoot issues without needing to ask their team lead or supervisor/manager for assistance.
Support engineering in prototyping.

No direct reports.
Travel/Shift Requirements
No travel required
Ability to work non-standard shift hours
Physical Demands
Ability to lift and/or push 40lbs
Able to stand for two or more hours at a time
Skills and Abilities Required
Maintain awareness of new technologies and emerging technologies and their potential application on client engagements
Advance knowledge in communication system, interconnection and wiring of network components
Sound understanding in the ERP System and internal process flow with regard to assembly orders and material flow
Fiber Testing and testing documentation
Advance computer knowledge using programs to log into equipment for commissioning purposes
Education and Experience Required
Associate's degree in business/telecommunication related field from an accredited college or university with 3 years related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above
Education and Experience Preferred
Knowledge and experience in electronics background.
