
Administrative Assistant

LHH is seeking administrative professionals with experience in the legal field for an opportunity with our client in downtown DC.

Responsibilities:
Provide high‑level administrative and legal support to a group of attorneys.
Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents, comparisons, tables of contents, and authorities to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
Support PowerPoint presentations, including basic graphic enhancements.
Manage attorney billing and accounting processes in accordance with client guidelines and Firm policies.
Open new clients and matters; prepare, review, and distribute monthly bills; process write‑offs, transfers, corrections, and retainers; finalize time entries; monitor deadlines; reconcile corporate credit card statements; and process expense reports.
Coordinate state and federal court and agency filings, transcript requests, and litigation searches. Submit docketing requests, maintain tickler systems in coordination with the Docket Coordinator, and track case and motion deadlines, following up as needed.
Maintain attorneys’ Outlook calendars, schedule meetings, court appearances, and appointments, and provide reminders.
Arrange complex domestic and international travel, including itineraries, accommodations, visas, and last‑minute changes.
Organize and maintain electronic and paper files, including iManage, ensuring accurate filing and metadata. Maintain attorney contacts in InterAction, enter activity and marketing notes, and assist with basic InterAction and Outlook integration.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries, and coordinate copying, scanning, printing, and bindery services, including large projects.
Collaborate closely with attorneys and colleagues as part of a team, coordinate coverage with backup team members, remain aligned on shared deadlines, and support team‑based initiatives.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience supporting attorneys, executives, or managers is preferred, along with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent legal administrative experience in a law firm environment.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required; experience with 3E or Elite, InterAction, and Adobe Suite is strongly preferred.
The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent organizational, time‑management, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, and work collaboratively with a flexible, proactive approach. xywuqvp
