Supply Chain Management Intern

Overview
The Supply Chain Management Intern will be responsible for supporting our Supply Chain, Logistics, and Procurement team with day-to-day operations. This role will offer hands‑on experience in procurement, inventory management, logistics, and trade compliance for a small government contractor.
This role will follow a hybrid work schedule with 2‑3 days in the office.
Responsibilities
Assist with procurement activities including sourcing, vendor communication, and purchase order tracking.
Support inventory management and reporting.
Maintain accurate records of materials, equipment, and parts for each program.
Assist with international shipping coordination including creating documentation, tracking historical shipping data, and assisting sales team with international shipping quotes.
Support compliance with government procurement policies and internal processes.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Program Management, Engineering, and Finance.
Support Trade Compliance with daily tasks to ensure compliance with U.S. Government import and export regulations such as International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
Lead and support ad‑hoc supply chain and trade compliance related projects.

Qualifications
U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued security clearance.
Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically using Excel.
Ability to take direction and follow instructions, and work with moderate supervision.
Proactive and willing to ask questions.
Comfortable learning in a fast‑paced, small‑team environment.
Effective problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Valued but not required skills and experience
Experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
Pay Range: $20/hour to $25/hour
The annual base pay range for this job level is a general guideline only.
