The Opportunity
This is a true
hunter role . Your primary responsibility is to generate new business, build a book of customers, and drive revenue.
You will have the autonomy to operate like an owner—with direct access to leadership, fast decision‑making, and the ability to shape the future of the business.
What You’ll Do
New Business Development (Primary Focus)
Prospect and secure new shipping customers
Build and grow a consistent book of business
Develop long‑term relationships with shippers
Revenue Ownership
Quote, negotiate, and close freight opportunities
Manage margins and pricing strategy
Grow revenue month‑over‑month
Existing book of business is highly valued and will be compensated accordingly
Account Management
Maintain and expand existing customer relationships
Ensure high service levels to retain and grow accounts
Execution Support
Work with internal team to cover freight
Stay involved to ensure loads move successfully
What We’re Looking For
Proven ability to generate new business ()
Strong communication and closing skills
Competitive, self‑motivated, and results‑driven
Comfortable working in a performance‑based environment
Freight brokerage or logistics sales experience is a plus
Compensation Structure
Base Salary: $50,000 – $60,000
Aggressive commission structure on gross margin
Uncapped earning potential
Top performers will have the opportunity to scale earnings significantly as their book grows.
