Alternate Program Manager (APM) | Communications Support Services ProSidian seeks an Alternate Program Manager (APM) | Communications Support Services for program support on a contract basis. The role is full-time and located on-site at the client site in The Fort Belvoir, Virginia area, supporting Army Reserve headquarters managing strategic communications, public affairs, outreach, and leadership messaging in a secure federal environment.
Candidates should have relevant aerospace and defense sector experience to support professional services engagement for clients such as USAR | OCAR. This is a full-time ProSidian W-2 communications support services position with commensurate benefits and competitive salary.
Job overview includes providing services and support as an Alternate Program Manager in the aerospace and defense industry sector focusing on IT effectiveness solutions for clients such as U.S. Army Reserve (USAR | OCAR) and the U.S. Army Reserve Command generally located in Fort Belvoir, Virginia and across the Mid-Atlantic United States (CONUS) region.
Responsibilities and duties include acting on behalf of the program manager when absent, supporting daily operations, managing task execution, coordinating staffing coverage, and assisting with quality control and performance reporting.
Desired qualifications for alternate program manager candidates include 10+ years of public affairs, communications, or federal consulting experience supporting military or civilian agencies, and a bachelor's degree in journalism, HR, psychology, business management, or business administration, or 10 years of equivalent experience.
Skills required include operational coordination, communications planning, personnel supervision, Microsoft Office, adaptability, teamwork, leadership support, operational discipline, and strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Other details include U.S. citizenship required, secret clearance eligibility, and NDA required.
