Description

Support Communications team in planning and executing strategies, product launches, events, press and digital activations that are aligned with the overall business objectives. Promote the brand and its products by generating social and editorial coverage across all forms of consumer and trade print and social media. Oversee press office admin duties and reports
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Communications team in planning and executing strategies, product launches, events, press and digital activations that are aligned with the overall business objectives.
Support team with event planning, organizing and negotiating with suppliers and managing critical timings.
Work with all functions to ensure 360⁃degree launches, supporting the Communications Manager to ensure all launches are strategically aligned.
Support Origins and Aveda Sustainability focuses by organizing charity events and supporting on donation elements.
Research and approach appropriate influencers to be part of key campaigns.
Pull together content briefs and negotiate on costs and contracts for influencers.
Oversee event planning and organisation and manage critical timings and roles and responsibilities. Promote the brand and its products by generating editorial coverage across all forms of media.
Work with team to pitch new launches and creative content ideas to influencers and press.
Foster and manage relationships with digital influencers, agencies and press. Schedule regular meetings with key contacts.
Consistently deliver on influencer engagement and content goals that build equity and awareness for the brand in target media.
Support and identify disruptive opportunities to partner with relevant influencers and like⁃minded brands Maintain Press office admin duties and reports.
Oversee the day⁃to⁃day running of the Aveda, Origins, Bumble and bumble press office, supporting the assistant where needed.
Coordinate the planning of the mail out calendar to ensure all mail outs are received by Influencers, LL, ML, SL press, influencers and tiktokers.
Update all press and influencer global assets (press releases and eblasts) to ensure they are UK relevant, legally approved and price and stockist information is correct.
Raise PO's and product orders as needed.
Oversee the reporting process, tracking monthly ranking against competitors and compiling reports.
Develop event recaps to share with senior stakeholders and global teams.
Create Bi weekly Hot Off the Press coverage announcements.
Maintain the activation calendar across all three brands.
Support Communications Manager with strategy decks and wider brand presentations for all 3 brands.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:
Have 2 years previous experience within the communications or events industry and a strong understanding of the communications and influencer landscapes
A willing and enthusiastic team player
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high⁃pressure, fast⁃paced environment and manage time efficiently in order to meet deadlines
Organised, highly motivated and proactive with a solution driven mind set
Faultless attention to detail
Ability to work effectively and skilfully with teams and key stakeholders across the wider business
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Develop a clear understanding of the brand, communications and content function and campaign plans
