Lincoln Land Community College is hiring a Visual Media Specialist. The position will work with the Graphic Design Manager to ensure that LLCC consistently produces high‑quality, accurate, and engaging visual content that strengthens the college’s brand, enhances digital communication, and supports student recruitment and engagement. The role’s most important impact is its ability to visually communicate the value of LLCC’s programs and services across all key digital platforms – website, social media, digital signage and Google – while maintaining accuracy, ADA compliance and strong user experience.
As a staff member at LLCC, you can look forward to 23 paid holidays a year, including 2 weeks at the end of the calendar year and one week in March for mid‑semester break; 12 Fridays off in the summer; and 2 personal days, 15 sick days, and starting with 15 vacation days per year. LLCC staff, their spouse and qualified dependent children are eligible to use the tuition waiver on credited courses. Staff can also enjoy free access to our on‑campus fitness center. Starting salary is likely to be between $51,911 and $60,250 per year with an excellent benefits package. The person hired into this position will be placed within this range based on education, training, experience, and skills.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or associate degree and equivalent experience) in integrated media, digital media, visual communications, art or related field.
Three years of experience in visual communications.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications
Training/experience in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Acrobat.
Training/experience in Canva.
Training/experience in ADA compliance.
Training/experience in GA4.
Training/experience in audio editing.

Health Insurance
– LLCC is a part of the Cigna network of doctors and hospitals. Two plan options are available: Open Access Plan-PPO (OAP) and High Deductible Health Plan-PPO with HSA (HDHP). Employee-only rates are $63.80 for OAP and $43.50 for HDHP; rates increase with dependents or families.
Dental Insurance
– LLCC is part of the SunLife Financial network of dentists. Employee-only rate is $0; rates for spouses and children vary.
Vision Insurance
– Offered by VSP. Employee-only rate is $7.86; rates increase with dependents or families.
Life Insurance
– LLCC will provide a term‑life insurance policy, which includes accidental death and dismemberment coverage. Each employee receives the lesser of two times their annual base salary or $200,000. Employees do not have to pay a monthly premium.
Voluntary and Dependent Life Insurance
– Supplemental term‑life insurance, including accidental death and dismemberment coverage, is available for employees at their expense. Dependent life insurance for spouses or children is also available for purchase.
Critical Illness and Cancer Insurance
– Employees may purchase coverage providing lump‑sum benefits upon diagnosis of a covered critical illness or cancer.
Accident Insurance
– Employees may purchase coverage to help cover related expenses such as lost income, child care, deductibles and copays.
Long‑Term Disability Insurance
– Employees may elect to pay for long‑term disability insurance that could pay up to 65% of their base monthly salary in the event of disability.
Hospital Indemnity Insurance
– Provides hospitalization benefits for you, your spouse and/or your child(ren).
Unreimbursed Medical Account (UMRA)
– Employees can place money in a tax‑free account to pay for out‑of‑pocket medical, dental and vision expenses.
Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account
– Pre‑tax benefit account to pay for eligible dependent care services.
Health Savings Account (HSA)
– Employees on the HDHP will receive a $3,100 contribution (institutionally matched) to the HSA during fiscal year 2026.
Retirement Plan
– State Universities Retirement System (SURS) covers LLCC employees with pre‑tax deductions. Employees may choose from three retirement plans.
Deferred Compensation
– Opportunity to participate in a voluntary deferred compensation plan including 403(b), 457, Roth IRA and a no‑load profile plan.
Tuition Waiver
– Eligible employees, spouses and qualified dependents may use the tuition waiver for LLCC credited courses.
Educational Assistance
– Eligible employees have up to $3,000 per year towards tuition at another educational institution, textbooks, workshops, seminars and conferences.
Class Release Time
– Paid time can be requested to attend classes by submitting an approved Class Release Time form.

Paid Holidays
LLCC observes 23 paid holidays a year including: Martin Luther King’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day (if not a college closed day), Labor Day, and three days at Thanksgiving (Wednesday to Friday). Additional paid days off include a five‑day break during spring mid‑semester and a ten‑day period between fall and spring semesters for winter break. Some exceptions apply for certain positions.
