Amazon MGM Studios seeks a seasoned Senior Lead, Theatrical Marketing to lead and drive innovative, high‑impact marketing campaigns for our theatrical releases within the US market. This role requires a proven leader who can operate autonomously, set strategic direction across multiple priority titles, and consistently deliver best‑in‑class, culturally attuned campaigns that maximize audience engagement and box office performance at high velocity and scale.
Responsibilities
Drive the development of title‑level positioning and overarching campaign strategy for multiple high‑profile theatrical releases a year; create long‑term slate‑level planning to identify strategic roadmap for title‑specific campaigns.
Lead internal cross‑functional meetings and brainstorms to develop the full go‑to‑market campaign across all channels, creating exciting, unique marketing initiatives that break through culture and drive box office success.
Drive innovation and focus in audience engagement, campaign approaches and breakthrough ideas; champion creative excellence and innovative problem‑solving across the organization.
Provide clear communication and organization across all internal and external stakeholders for fast‑moving initiatives, ensuring alignment on campaign priorities and resource allocation.
Develop and facilitate impressive campaign presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Lead and influence senior stakeholders across creative, media, publicity, partnerships, and distribution to ensure unified, high‑caliber campaign execution.
Operate as a central hub for campaign leadership, managing competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Develop and deliver compelling executive‑level presentations that articulate strategy, creative direction, and performance expectations.
Champion forward‑thinking campaign strategies reflecting evolving audience behaviors, cultural signals, and emerging entertainment trends.
Translate deep audience and cultural insights into campaigns that resonate broadly while connecting authentically with distinct audience segments.
Continuously raise the bar on studio audience engagement, driving new approaches that unlock incremental reach and impact.
Qualifications
10+ years of professional marketing experience (non‑internship).
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
Experience building, executing, and scaling cross‑functional marketing programs.
Experience driving direction and alignment with cross‑functional teams.
Experience working cross‑functionally with partner teams to drive adoption and usage of brand assets and messaging.
Experience in strategic marketing management and market analysis; proven ability to build and execute a strategy with clear goals and objectives aligned to business and service objectives.
Strategic vision & ownership: ability to set direction, operate independently, and lead multiple large‑scale initiatives simultaneously without close oversight.
Proven track record of delivering high‑impact, high‑visibility campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes, ideally in theatrical or entertainment marketing.
Executive presence & influence: exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and align diverse teams in fast‑moving environments.
Operational excellence: ability to manage a high volume of complex workstreams while maintaining precision, quality, and on‑time delivery.
Innovation leadership: track record of introducing and scaling new ideas, technologies, or approaches that materially improve campaign performance.
Audience & cultural fluency: strong instinct for identifying emerging trends and translating cultural signals into effective, resonant marketing strategies that connect across a broad range of audiences.

Salary range: 142,000.00 – 192,000.00 USD annually (USA, CA, Culver City).
