Editorial Lead (Copy & Content)

Medbridge is an SaaS company working with the country’s largest healthcare providers to build technology solutions that help patients get better faster, while decreasing the cost of care. The Editorial Lead (Copy & Content) will oversee the schedule of external quality control copy editors and ensure the highest quality content for our customers. This role’s primary objective is to ensure content quality and consistency in copy editing, including tone and voice.

We hire in the following states: AZ, CO, CA, FL, ID, GA, IL, NH, KS, MA, MI, MN, NC, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI.

Responsibilities

Copy edit content, including high-priority, fast turnaround requests

Update copy editing documentation and guidelines to ensure Medbridge content is the highest quality and the company is up-to-date on the latest style standards

Work closely with the Post-Producer Manager to ensure copy editor contractors are operating efficiently and meeting quality standards

Oversee copy editor contractors and assign content ready to be reviewed so it meets deadlines

Collaborate with department leads and managers to identify areas of quality improvement for different product offerings

Maintain department tools like Grammarly and find ways to innovate the quality review process

Create scalable AI tools to support the editorial and QC process

Qualifications

At least 3 years of copy editing and/or writing experience

Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office

Demonstrated experience with AI tools

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Excellent organizational skills

Strong attention to detail

Flexible and able to switch between tasks quickly

Salary Range
$65,000 - $75,000
