Overview

The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics requests an Edit/Media Assistant for Athletics – Marketing. The role supports brand advancement and creative services for the university’s 24 intercollegiate sports programs, including graphic design, video editing, and social‑media content creation.
Responsibilities

Work under the Associate and Assistant Athletic Directors for Brand Advancement and Creative Services.
Collaborate with marketing staff and athletics partners to develop and produce original graphic and visual content.
Lead the design and production of new/original graphic materials for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Qualifications

Minimum Education : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications/Licenses : Valid driver’s license required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and meet tight deadlines.
Strong prioritization skills to deliver results while staying current with design trends and industry changes.
Capability to conceptualize and create graphic materials tailored to specific audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of two (2) years of graphic design experience.

Physical Demands

Possible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Capability to lift heavy objects as needed.
Special Conditions

Safe driving record.
Position Details

Grade: 03
Salary Range: $52,602 – $76,975 (subject to experience and funding).

Union: URA‑AFT Administrative.
Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week.
