Job Description:
Parental leave coverage for a Brand Marketer on the Global Kids Brand Initiatives Brand Management team. Role is a high-level brand marketer that will build strategic plans for cross media brand marketing.
PLUS: Have a portfolio of what they've done, they will need to speak to their past projects during the interview
Must Haves:
5-8+ years of experience in brand marketing - event activation, lead cross media marketing plans
High level of cross functional marketing
Experience building strategic plans into decks, creating a brief, presenting ideas to team
Nice to Haves:
Experience at an enterprise level company or has been on the agency side
Kids Culture or similar experience, interest and excitement for kids culture
Digital and social media experience
Who we are looking for
Client is looking for a Brand Marketer to join their Kid's Team. The role involves leading global marketing plans to serve the brand and business specific for Kids. The candidate will be responsible for understanding youth culture and sports, leading seasonal brand plans, leading a cross-functional marketing team, and collaborating with other teams within Client .
If this is you, you'll be responsible for but not limited to:
Obsessing Kids Culture with a specific focus on Sport.
Understanding the Consumer at a deep level inclusive of their motivations, passions and connectivity to sport to inspire aspirational storytelling and concepts.
Partner with the Senior Director to build long term brand plans that build and deepen Client 's relationship with kids and adults.
Leading a cross functional marketing team to inspire world class storytelling and consumer journeys taking the brand and consumer somewhere new.
Launching new product innovation and driving key partnerships.
Leading Seasonal Marketing Plans that position Client as the top brand in Kid's Sport.
Who you will work with
You will be reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Brand Management, Kids. You will work closely with Global and Geo Brand Marketing and Business Teams to ensure that strategy and resources serve the brand and business.
What you bring
Minimum of 5-8+ years of experience in brand marketing or related experience with a deep understanding of youth culture, the kid's consumer, and media landscape.
Demonstrated genuine passion and deep understanding for inspiring and enabling kids + sports
Proven ability to drive and deliver results.
Expertise through the lens of digital engagement, content and narrative building for kids & adults both on and off platform is also preferred.
(Internal Only) Deep understanding of Client 's brand standards and how to translate them to industry leading work.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a wide range of partners across cultures, ranges of ability, genders, ethnicities, and races.
Experience influencing a team of high-performers through fast-paced change and ambiguity.
Experience influencing leadership, teams and functional counterparts to get results in a balanced way.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentation
