Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager at ExampleCorp will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to increase revenue and grow the ExampleCorp customer base. The Business Development Manager will work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns that support the sales strategy. The Business Development Manager will be based in ExampleCorp's San Francisco office.
Key Responsibilities

The following areas of focus will be central to your role in this position:
Identifying new sales leads
Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
Developing quotes and proposals
Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following attributes:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Flexible and adaptable to change
