Communications Specialist

The Servicing Communications team is responsible for managing client-facing servicing communications that span the Consumer Bank, carry brand risk and regulatory considerations, and align with established Client Care standards.


This role is responsible for creating and managing servicing communications delivered across both offline and online channels, including monthly statements, direct mail, email, and digital platforms. The individual will partner with multiple lines of business to define communication strategies, write and edit content, and secure required approvals from legal, risk, and compliance stakeholders.


The role requires applying brand guidelines, servicing communication standards, and market research insights to inform messaging and approach. Throughout the approval process, the individual will provide rationale for content decisions, identify opportunities to streamline or consolidate communications, and negotiate revisions as needed. Additionally, the role will coordinate with channel execution partners to ensure all communications are delivered accurately, on time, and without error.


Minimum Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 2+ years of experience within a financial institution
  • Experience writing clear, effective business communications for internal and external audiences
  • Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating content accordingly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Copilot
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-starter with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Ability to manage complex initiatives within cross-functional teams
  • Proven relationship-building skills
  • Ability to support multiple programs simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to identify issues and escalate concerns with appropriate urgency
