Job Description
The client is seeking a detail-oriented Production Artist to support ongoing catalog production, focusing on executing and updating existing designs rather than creating original concepts.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Execute production work for large-scale catalogs using existing templates
Place imagery, text, and assets into pre-designed layouts
Update and revise catalog content based on stakeholder feedback
Collaborate with the lead designer to follow established creative direction
Manage multiple pages and high-volume assets (200+ page catalogs)
Utilize Wrike for proofing, revisions, and tracking updates
Attend regular meetings (up to 3 per week per catalog cycle)
Communicate with marketing team members to gather missing content
Prepare final PDFs for internal review upon completion of updates
Requirements
Must-Haves:
Strong production art experience, particularly in print/catalog environments
Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign
High attention to detail with ability to manage repetitive tasks
Experience working with large, content-heavy documents
Understanding of paragraph and character styles
Ability to follow templates and creative direction precisely
Strong organizational and communication skills
Nice-to-Haves:
Prior catalog production experience
Familiarity with Wrike or similar proofing/project management tools
Ability to adapt or extrapolate from existing designs
