Position Overview
This is a hands-on, high-impact marketing role supporting a collaborative team across two Wisconsin locations. The Marketing Coordinator will own and execute core marketing initiatives, including digital campaigns, content creation, social media, website management, and trade show coordination, while partnering closely with leadership, sales, and engineering to drive brand visibility and lead generation.
Success in this role looks like building credibility through consistent execution, strong project ownership, and proactive communication. This individual will balance creativity with attention to detail, bring new ideas forward, and operate independently.

Key Performance Objectives
30-Day Objectives
Complete onboarding across both locations; build understanding of products, processes, and key stakeholders
Gain familiarity with current marketing tools, systems, and active campaigns
Learn Nercon and MCE websites, including backend CMS functionality
Establish working relationships with sales, engineering, and leadership
Begin contributing to ongoing marketing initiatives and content updates
60-Day Objectives
Take ownership of core marketing tasks (social media, website updates, campaign support)
Build and begin executing a structured content and social media calendar
Develop baseline reporting on campaign performance and website activity
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency or reduce reliance on external agencies
Begin engaging with agency partners more directly
90-Day Objectives
Independently manage key marketing workflows and project timelines
Launch and manage marketing campaigns (email, digital, content-driven)
Demonstrate working knowledge of marketing automation tools and analytics (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics)
Contribute ideas for new strategies, tools, or process improvements
Support planning and execution of trade shows and promotional efforts
365-Day Objectives
First 12 Months (365 Days)
Operate as a fully independent marketing contributor, owning campaigns, reporting, and execution
Reduce reliance on third-party agencies by bringing more capabilities in-house
Deliver measurable improvements in lead generation (quality and quantity)
Establish consistent and effective marketing cadence (campaigns, social, communications)
Become a trusted partner to leadership, sales, and engineering
Contribute meaningfully to long-term marketing strategy and growth initiatives
Responsibilities
Execute digital marketing campaigns including email, content, and social media
Manage website updates and backend CMS functionality
Develop and maintain a structured content calendar
Track and report on marketing performance using analytics tools
Coordinate and eventually lead relationships with external marketing agencies
Support and manage logistics for 3–4 annual trade shows
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and leadership teams
Research and implement new marketing tools, technologies, and AI-driven strategies
Build marketing reports, campaign insights, and recommendations
Maintain strong organization across multiple projects and deadlines
Must-Have Qualifications
Strong initiative and self-direction—ability to manage work without constant oversight
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Interest in digital marketing (campaigns, analytics, content, automation)
High level of accountability, organization, and follow-through
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Marketing
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Pardot)
Familiarity with Google Analytics or campaign performance tracking
Basic graphic design or content creation skills
Experience in B2B or manufacturing marketing environments
Portfolio of marketing work (campaigns, writing, design, or academic projects)
