Job Summary
BDO is seeking an innovative and motivated intern to support our digital marketing strategies. The Digital Marketing Intern supports BDO's digital presence including web, social media, and email programs while also contributing to campaign support, data management, and project coordination projects.

Job Duties
General

Serves as an internal resource to marketing professionals to help support digital marketing programs

Supports the firm brand to ensure digital marketing and communications reflect the firm's messages, positioning and visual identity

Assists with campaign support

Assists with data quality and data management projects

Web Site

Updates web sites, including content updates, imagery and search engine optimization (SEO) enhancements

Leverages existing and future CMS capabilities

Considers the needs of different end users (clients, prospects, prospective employees, etc.)

Utilizes (SEO best practices in content and web design

Supports web analytics and SEO reporting

Social Media

Supports the firm's social media accounts, including, but not limited to, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram

Assists with content sourcing and reporting

Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education:

Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, or Communications, required

Experience:

Knowledge and experience with digital marketing, social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram, preferred

Experience with web site planning, design and development, including best practices for web site design and programming, preferred

License/Certifications:

N/A

Software:

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, required

Knowledge of CMS software, Google Analytics, MAP/ESP software, preferred

Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and/or HTML, preferred

Language:

N/A

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with specific experience writing for online media

Excellent project management and organizational skills

Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment while handling multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, and managing process and service providers (internal and external) to accomplish desired results

Strong interpersonal and client service skills, consultative approach to working with marketing and client service professionals at all levels

Knowledge and experience with online metrics, analytics, tools and SEO

Capacity to understand and communicate firm business, marketplace and value proposition

Ability to serve professionals at all levels in a client-oriented, matrixed environment

Knowledge of B2B marketing strategies and tactics, and their application in a professional services organization
