The Farmers Insurance Protege Program is a mentorship-based training initiative, designed to help aspiring individuals become Farmers Insurance agency owners by providing hands on experience, comprehensive training, and mentorship. Participants learn sales, marketing, and customer service skills, while gaining real-world experience. The ultimate goal is a transition to agency ownership after successful completion of the 9-12 month program.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and annual targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs to recommend appropriate insurance products.
- Provide clients with information on policies, premiums, and coverage options, ensuring they make informed decisions.
- Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and prospecting activities.
- Follow up with leads and prospective clients to close sales and meet established goals.
- Manage customer service needs, answer questions, and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, products, and market conditions to best serve clients.
- Maintain and update accurate client records in the system.
Requirement
- Prior insurance sales experience preferred (insurance sales experience is a plus, but not required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Self-driven with a goal-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Positive attitude, team player, and strong work ethic.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to learn new products and services quickly.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Must be willing to obtain a state insurance license (if not already licensed).
