Required Qualifications:

Associate degree (or higher) in event management, a technical field, or a closely related area, plus 2+ years of related experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Be the go-to person on site for event technology-audio, video, basic networking, and webcasts.
Support live events from start to finish (set up, monitor during the event, and troubleshoot issues quickly).
Meet with clients to understand what they want the event to achieve and what technical support is needed.
Check and maintain A/V systems (displays, mics, speakers, control panels, and conference tools) to keep them working well.
Stay up to date on new A/V tools and suggest upgrades or improvements when they make sense.
Write and update simple instructions and troubleshooting notes so others can support the systems consistently.
Other special projects as assigned and directed by the President or their designee.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Strong expertise in live sound reinforcement and audio system design
Experience supporting high-visibility executive or VIP events
Ability to operate mixers, wireless microphone systems, and DSP based audio systems
Knowledge of outdoor acoustics, portable PA deployment, and power distribution fundamentals
Exceptional problem-solving and in the moment adaptation skills
Excellent communication and customer service orientation
A collaborative approach, working well with leadership and cross-functional teams
Commitment to delivering polished, professional events that reflect institutional excellence
