Job Goal
Technical position, responsible for coordinating the support, setup, operation, and maintenance of audiovisual equipment used in the classroom and events across the various College sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

These requirements are a representation of the types of duties and responsibilities that will be required of positions given this title and shall not be construed as an exhaustive list of specific duties and responsibilities. Management may direct employees to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
Provides comprehensive audiovisual support to meet the diverse needs of the college community, ensuring smooth and reliable operation. Occasional off-campus, weekend or evening assignments may be required to accommodate various events and activities.
Assists with setting up and operating webcasting equipment, enabling seamless broadcasting of college events and enhancing their accessibility for broader audiences.
Conducts proactive maintenance and upkeep of audiovisual equipment utilized throughout the college, guaranteeing optimal performance, and minimizing disruptions.
Collaborates closely with the Coordinator of Audiovisual Services, providing valuable assistance and support in managing audiovisual operations at the Performing Arts Center and other College events, ensuring exceptional experiences for performers, presenters, and attendees.
Maintains an inventory of consumable audiovisual equipment parts (such as bulbs, filters, etc.) for all audiovisual equipment owned by the college, ensuring timely availability and smooth functioning of owned audiovisual resources.
Assists the Coordinator of Audiovisual Services with evaluating audiovisual equipment needs at the college, actively recommending necessary upgrades and replacements to enhance technological capabilities and support instructional and presentation requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

Associate's degree in a technology-related field from a regionally accredited institution or Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification
At least one (1) year of experience working with audiovisual equipment, including projectors, projection screens, document cameras, and microcomputers.

Preferred:

Experience with webcasting, stage lighting, and/or audio equipment preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Knowledge of installation, maintenance, and support of A/V systems and equipment
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work evening hours and weekends
Maintain a valid Florida driver's license and/or have the ability to travel between college sites
Satisfactory physical examination with the ability to lift 40 lbs.
