Assistant Digital Editor
to help create, edit, and optimize engaging food and home content that grows audiences and drives traffic across leading lifestyle websites. This role is ideal for a digital‑first editor who understands online media trends and thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Working closely with Editorial, Commerce, SEO, and Newsletter teams, you’ll support daily content operations while taking initiative on new projects. You’ll use performance data and audience insights to help shape content strategy and ensure stories reach the widest possible audience.
What You’ll Do:
Pitch, write, and edit articles across food, home, and commerce verticals
Support editors with content creation, updates, optimization, and quality control
Use research, analytics, and performance insights to inform content programming and optimization decisions
Collaborate cross‑functionally to align content with broader editorial and audience goals
Adapt quickly to new assignments and changing priorities
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
Experience in digital media, entertainment, or lifestyle publishing, including web, mobile, or social platforms
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to match brand voice and editorial standards
Familiarity with food, home, and commerce content in a digital environment
Experience working with content management systems
Working knowledge of SEO best practices and analytics tools, including analyzing large data sets
