Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, can manage multiple moving pieces, and is equally comfortable with strategy and execution.

You will oversee a small team while collaborating closely with executive leadership, sales, and cross-functional partners to bring campaigns to life. The ideal candidate is a proactive, adaptable leader who can step in, take ownership, and drive measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business objectives
  • Own and manage multi-channel campaigns across digital (social, email, SEO/SEM) and traditional channels (events, PR, print)
  • Drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention initiatives
  • Monitor and optimize performance using KPIs and analytics, adjusting strategies as needed

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and manage a small marketing team (3–4 people), including design and web support
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, leadership, and creative teams to align messaging and execution
  • Provide direction, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality output

Digital Marketing & Content

  • Oversee social media strategy and growth, with a strong focus on LinkedIn and B2B engagement
  • Manage content calendars and publishing, leveraging internal resources and freelancers
  • Execute email marketing campaigns and lifecycle strategies, aligning with the customer journey

Events & Trade Shows

  • Plan and execute 6–7 trade shows annually, along with additional sponsorships and events
  • Manage end-to-end logistics including vendor sourcing, pre-planning, and on-site coordination
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and strong brand presence
  • Support both consumer-facing and B2B/distributor-focused events

B2B Marketing & Sales Enablement

  • Partner with sales to support lead generation, funnel development, and outreach initiatives
  • Conduct research and provide insights to target distributors, wholesalers, and new accounts
  • Build campaigns to re-engage inactive accounts and drive new business opportunities
  • Assist with inbound inquiries and vendor onboarding processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
  • Proven ability to execute marketing strategies across multiple channels
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and content strategy
  • Experience supporting B2B marketing and sales initiatives
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in event marketing and trade show execution
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms
  • Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven industries
  • Exposure to PR, partnerships, or influencer marketing
  • Familiarity with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite) and web/digital best practices
