Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, can manage multiple moving pieces, and is equally comfortable with strategy and execution.
You will oversee a small team while collaborating closely with executive leadership, sales, and cross-functional partners to bring campaigns to life. The ideal candidate is a proactive, adaptable leader who can step in, take ownership, and drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business objectives
- Own and manage multi-channel campaigns across digital (social, email, SEO/SEM) and traditional channels (events, PR, print)
- Drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention initiatives
- Monitor and optimize performance using KPIs and analytics, adjusting strategies as needed
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and manage a small marketing team (3–4 people), including design and web support
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, leadership, and creative teams to align messaging and execution
- Provide direction, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality output
Digital Marketing & Content
- Oversee social media strategy and growth, with a strong focus on LinkedIn and B2B engagement
- Manage content calendars and publishing, leveraging internal resources and freelancers
- Execute email marketing campaigns and lifecycle strategies, aligning with the customer journey
Events & Trade Shows
- Plan and execute 6–7 trade shows annually, along with additional sponsorships and events
- Manage end-to-end logistics including vendor sourcing, pre-planning, and on-site coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and strong brand presence
- Support both consumer-facing and B2B/distributor-focused events
B2B Marketing & Sales Enablement
- Partner with sales to support lead generation, funnel development, and outreach initiatives
- Conduct research and provide insights to target distributors, wholesalers, and new accounts
- Build campaigns to re-engage inactive accounts and drive new business opportunities
- Assist with inbound inquiries and vendor onboarding processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
- Proven ability to execute marketing strategies across multiple channels
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and content strategy
- Experience supporting B2B marketing and sales initiatives
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience in event marketing and trade show execution
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms
- Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven industries
- Exposure to PR, partnerships, or influencer marketing
- Familiarity with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite) and web/digital best practices
