Job Summary
KVVU, the Gray‑owned station in Las Vegas, is hiring an anchor/reporter. The role involves anchoring weekend newscasts and reporting on weekdays, providing an ideal opportunity for a journalist who excels in the field during the week and commands the anchor desk on weekends.

Duties / Responsibilities

Generate strong story ideas and produce/report those stories for on‑air and digital channels. All anchors also report.

Anchor weekend newscasts while spending weekdays out reporting.

Handle breaking news and live field coverage.

Qualifications / Requirements

Three years of minimum experience as a reporter and anchor in a TV newsroom.

Proven ability to conceive and pitch strong enterprise (original) story ideas that support the FOX5 "Local Las Vegas" brand.

Strong writing skills and ability to tell engaging stories through visual mediums.

College degree preferred, but not required.
