Director - Crisis Receiving Center

The Director provides leadership to all staff in the Crisis Center. The Crisis Center provides care to individuals ages 14 and older in a community setting. Open 24/7, 365 days a year, the center will offer a space for individuals and families to seek crisis support incorporating trained professionals, comprehensive assessments and coordination with community support and resources.

DUTIES
The Director of the Lewiston Crisis Receiving Center will oversee day-to-day operations of this new program which operates 24/7/365. This role will provide professional leadership and clinical and administrative oversight for all staff including Crisis Workers, Peers, Clinicians, Psychiatric Practitioners and Nurses. This individual will recruit, hire, orient, train and evaluate staff and assure compliance with all aspects of the service. This individual will engage with community partners and stakeholders ongoingly to promote community engagement and utilization of the Center and address barriers.

QUALIFICATIONS
Master's in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited school and independently licensed in the state of Maine as an LCSW or LCPC. Must maintain required licensing and certification throughout the duration of employment with Spurwink in this role. Experience Requirements: Five years of mental health, crisis resolution, and program administration and/or supervision experience preferred.
